Labour’s candidate for the Rimutaka electorate Chris Hipkins has released a ‘Top 10′ list of local priorities for his first term if elected as the local Member of Parliament. Economic package benefits schools

Upper Hutt’s state secondary and intermediate schools could be major beneficiaries from Helen Clark’s proposed economic stimulus package, Labour’s candidate for the Rimutaka electorate Chris Hipkins says. “The state of our local secondary and intermediate schools has been of real concern to me since I visited them earlier in the year. I’ve made a promise to them that if elected as the next MP for Rimutaka I will work with them to get the extra funding they need to upgrade their facilities,” Chris Hipkins said.
